Structural characteristics

Unlike parallel gate valves, wedge gate valves also have single wedge valves. Working principle

The opening and closing parts of wedge gate valve are gate. The movement direction of gate valve is perpendicular to the fluid direction. Wedge gate valve can only be fully opened and fully closed, which is not suitable for adjustment and throttling. Wedge gate valve generally through the stem with the rotating handwheel up and down to complete the opening and closing of the valve. There are two kinds of gate valves: the rising stem wedge gate valve and the hidden stem wedge gate valve. The rising stem wedge gate valve moves up and down the stem, and the stem nut is fixed. The concealed stem gate valve is fixed with the stem, and the up and down movement of the stem nut has completed the opening and closing.
