In fact, there are many kinds of filters, such as laminated filter, sand filter, carbon filter, etc. the main principle is to use the pore diameter of the filter medium to intercept substances with smaller pore diameter than that of the medium. Most filter backwashing is not so troublesome, as long as water from the end of the filtered water into the reverse backwashing filter medium can achieve good backwashing effect.

Therefore, the test system and the pollution injection system serving the test system need to be equipped with filters. In this case, the filter and the filter to be tested are two different things. Its accuracy needs to be met, and the requirements for the pollutant capacity are higher than the filter to be tested, so as to distinguish the same test system The two types of filters in are called test bench filter and tested filter.

1. Inlet and outlet diameter:

In principle, the inlet and outlet diameter of the filter shall not be less than the inlet diameter of the matched pump, generally consistent with the inlet pipe diameter.

2. Nominal pressure:

Determine the pressure level of the filter according to the highest possible pressure in the filter line.

3. Selection of hole number:

The impurity particle size to be intercepted is mainly considered, which is determined according to the technological requirements of medium process. Refer to the following table "screen specifications" for the interceptable particle size of various specifications of screen.

4. Filter material:

The material of the filter is generally the same as that of the connected process pipe. For different service conditions, the filter made of cast iron, carbon steel, low alloy steel or stainless steel can be selected.
